Dandenong Thunder FC is thrilled to announce star sharp shooter Brandon Barnes has committed to the club for season 2019.
Barnes who joined the club at the beginning of 2016 has played 78 NPL Victoria games in the Red & Black scoring a phenomenal 99 goals in the process.
Upon signing his new contract with the club, Barnes said “I am delighted to resign at Thunder, the club has made clear their ambitions for the coming season and everything around the club for the coming season seems positive and exciting.
I am looking forward to building on what we achieved as a club last season & on a personal note keep contributing to the side.”
Dandenong Thunder Secretary Mersim Aliu (pictured, alongside Brandon Barnes daughter Ivy) was thrilled at resigning Barnes for a fourth season at the club, “We’re delighted to announce the signing of BB for another year at the club. Being the leading goal scorer each year since he arrived in Australia, there’s no doubt he is one of the premier players in the state. So to have him commit to us is a massive show of faith in the direction of the club & we look forward to growing this club with ambitions of winning silverware.”
